Welcome to the Latin American/Latino Studies program at Kennesaw State University. The Latin American/Latino Studies program allows students to increase their breadth and understanding of Latin America. It also enables one to gain a solid foundation for understanding contemporary Latin American society. To achieve this goal, the Latin American Studies minor offers a range of courses in history, political science, art, and language. Students will also be permitted to take appropriate directed studies, special topics, or study abroad courses. The minor will be especially useful to students who seek to enhance their study of the Spanish or Portuguese language with knowledge of this world region.
